Visit the Garfield Heights church of Christ

Members of the churches of Christ are eager to share the Word of God with others.  When you visit you will be greeted by friendly persons who genuinely care for you and your soul.  They warmly welcome you to the service and will introduce themselves and others to you.  Everyone is encouraged to come together to sing a hymn, offer a prayer to God, and to listen to the Word of God read in reverance in the hearing of all.  We then separate to our Bible Classes.  There are Bible classes available for all ages.  When you visit the adult classes you will find enthusiasm, participation, and discussion of verses or topics found in the greatest book ever written.

Members who greet you sincerely want to follow the teachings of the Bible--nothing more and nothing less.  You will meet people who care about one another and care about you.  As the worship begins you will notice that we have a simple service where all who are present participate.  The singing is enthusiastic, contagious and heartwarming.  The Lord's Supper is served each week in an orderly and reverent manner.  Prayers are humble and earnest.  The minister's sermon is a clear message from the word of God.  One observes the Lord's citizens opening their Bibles, studying, and following along.  When the worship is over you can rest assured that the people here will invite you to return for another visit.  Our hope and prayer is that you will leave with a better understanding and a deeper appreciation for Christ and His church, wanting to return to the Garfield Heights church of Christ for another opportunity to learn more about the simple Christianity revealed in the New Testament and to associate with this group of people who show so much love for God and for one another.
